Andrew Wyllie - Founder

Over the last five years, I have focused on building secure, robust and highly scalable infrastructure. I have also spent a considerable amount of time evaluating and implementing cutting edge technologies like machine learning frameworks, serverless frameworks and NoSQL databases as well as software design and extreme and agile project management techniques, extensive testing frameworks and implementing continuous integration and deployment systems in order to increase productivity and reduce risk.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, walking on the beach (:-)), running, jazz and travel photography.

Alex Wyllie is a computer scientist and mathematician with an interest in linguistics. He began developing Formatim at the end of 2015 as a high school project, and initially launched the app in 2017. He continues to work on the app while also pursuing a variety of AI projects.
